 Responsibilities:

 1. Plan to organize for GPS Mapping in the Construction/Road Maintenance.

  • Perform GPS mapping in the Construction/Road Maintenance.
  • Process GPS field data and produce GPS Map for Management.
  • Update latest GPS Mapping & GPS Database for Management.
  • Collaborate with Estate Management in precision Agricultural Management.
  • Collaborate the overall GPS Mapping and data for Management.
  • Verify the works (in area) claimed by Contractors.
  • To perform duties as instructed by General Manager/Estate Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in GIS or related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in related field.

Senior Engineer (Road)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to assist the General Manager to plan, coordinate, implement and monitor the overall engineering, construction and work operations in the districts of Sabah.
  • Fully responsible for the site operations and projects, to achieve timely delivery of services that meet the contractual specifications.
  • Plan, lead and manage project teams and work closely with Management to ensure effective execution of Company strategies.
  • Expected to train the staff by providing and coordinating external staff training, on job training and technical briefings.
  • Managing sub-contractors and assigning resources to deliver works within budget, time and quality standards. Monitor project progress and sub-contractors performance.
  • Provide engineering advice to the operation team in respect to the project design and construction. Responsible to resolve any technical and project implementation issues.
  • Manage site operations and activities in the most efficient and effective manner to achieve deadlines. To review progress against plans and contractual arrangements.
  • Enforce non-compliance of SOP/Safety Procedures among staff and sub-contractors.
  • Maintain and implement ISO9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO14001:2015 (Environment Management System) and OHSAS18001:2007 (Safety and Health), 6S and IT application systems within the Company.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Degree in Civil Engineering. Candidate with registered professional engineer (Ir) is an added advantage.
  • Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in site based infrastructure construction.
  • Strong leadership, relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders.
  • Able to travel within the state of Sabah.
